The Tool & Cutter Grinder Market

 

Throughout the last 18 months, the global market for tool and cutter grinders has significantly improved.
 

Driven off the back of improving economic conditions following the Global Financial Crisis, ANCA Pty Ltd is now producing around 3 times the volume compared to the first quarter of the 2010 calendar year. 
 
This has necessitated the installation of additional capacity throughout our operations, significant increase in labour in both our Thailand and Australian plants and the expansion of our Machine Shop.
All three world regions are showing signs of improving trends in orders, with demand in Asia increasing significantly, largely driven via China.




 


The forward order trends are continuing to ramp up, with some markets showing even stronger improvement than others. Whilst the capacity in our Plants has had some constraints, based on both internal capacity and external supplier capability, we have now overcome these issues and are further increasing our planned volumes.

ANCA continues to grow our market penetration and we have recently expanded our operations in to Bangalore, India.

Back in Melbourne, Australia, ANCA Motion, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANCA Pty Ltd, is in the advanced stages of building a new Engineering and Administration Centre across the road from the Australian ANCA Plant.

ANCA Motion Manufacturing in Taiwan is also on the move. They have moved into a new facility to provide capacity for the significant increase in volumes for ANCA Machine Tools and external customers.

The facility in Taiwan will also house a Demonstration facility for ANCA Machine Tools.
 

ANCA’s Pursuit of Increased Customer Satisfaction

 

Our strategic focus has been further developed with the intent of providing total customer satisfaction in everything we do. This includes product, quality, delivery and service, whilst adopting a total lean enterprise approach to doing business.


As part of this goal, significant management refinements have occurred over the last 12 months in the areas of Marketing and Product Management, Manufacturing Management, Engineering and Project Management. This has led to a marked increase in recruitment in the last 12 months.
 

More recently, a new After Sales and Service Division has been established with a clear focus on after sales service and training.
 

A number of exciting new projects are under development and these products are planned to be launched progressively over the next 18 months.
