ANCA makes two new senior appointments

The Board recently confirmed the appointment of an independent, non-executive Chairman. Pat Boland, Joint Co-Founder said: “After a rigorous interview process, with several high-quality applicants, the Board has appointed Graeme Billings to this role.”


“Graeme comes from an impressive business background as both a Senior Manager, Independent Director and Chairman for several of Australia’s best companies,” he concluded. After his appointment, Graeme said: “The ANCA Group is a great success story. I look forward to working with the Board and Management in pursuit of the Company’s long term growth strategy.”


Formally a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as leading the Firm’s Global Industrial Products sector, Graeme has extensive experience in assurance, transaction and consulting services with multinational and Australian companies in the automotive, construction and general manufacturing industries, spanning a 34-year period.

Graeme also draws on his experience with acquisitions, mergers and other business investigation areas, including succession planning.


Chris Hegarty joined ANCA Machine Tools as the AMT Engineering Manager last month. Grant Anderson, ANCA Group CEO said “Chris brings to the Company a wealth of experience gained during his time as a senior manager and consultant in high level technical engineering companies in Europe, predominantly Switzerland. These have included ESEC, Mapper Lithography and ASML, all semiconductor equipment manufacturing companies and Infineon, a semiconductor manufacturer specialised in automotive and industrial applications. He also has extensive consulting experience from McKinsey and Company and his own company.”


Chris said: “As an Australian returning home after over thirty years abroad, I’m delighted to be joining ANCA, because it’s a remarkable success story in a globally-competitive high technology industry.” Chris has a PhD. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
