2017 – a year of expansion for The ANCA Group

I'd like to reflect on 2017 - year of major expansion for the ANCA group. Firstly, thank you to our customers, our suppliers and our employees. Your support has meant we delivered on all our goals and aspirations during a very busy year. Watch a video to learn why 2017 has been a great year.




2017 highlights across the group

• Our people are our key to our success and we reached a milestone this year with over 1000 talented people now working with us - an exciting moment for The ANCA Group.

• We saw significant investment in the business expanding our operations in Australia, Thailand, China, and the USA. With high market volumes, we need to be able to meet our customers’ needs and the new facilities provide greater flexibility in configuring machines and enable better demonstration areas to train our customers in our latest product innovations.

• Our tradition of investing in research and development across all divisions continued to ensure we develop technology that exceeds our customers expectations. From a product perspective, ANCA CNC launched the FX Linear with the dual robot technology and our new FCP4 high speed drill grinder is yet another market first that is already exciting the industry.

• ANCA Motion has also grown significantly this year, securing an important customer in the Laser Cutting Industry and opening a new facility in China in October.

• Our Tinfish sheet metal business expanded its product base diversifying into the 4 wheel drive market among others.

• Finally, we are proud to have launched our internal program ANCA Production System (APS) to improve our efficiency and effectiveness on delivering products.

Looking ahead to the next 12 months

Over the next two months, we anticipate the markets will remain strong. Our product development pipeline is continuing at a rapid rate and we are actively working with our customers to ensure we are delivering innovations that exceed their expectations.

At the same time, we'll continue to work on improving our service and our quality to better improve the customer experience and achieve our goal of being number one in lifetime customer experience.

The value of cloud-based connectivity on the factory floor continues to grow as the Industry 4.0 movement accelerates. Our Management software launched earlier this year enables our customers to monitor the operational performance of their machines and provide live production and machine data to make informed operational improvements. And the next 12 months will see a focus on how we as a business can better help our customers unlock the potential from this digital transformation.

I would also like to congratulate the winners of our customer satisfaction survey to win one of five Sim3D and ToolDraft packages. Your contributions are crucial to us understanding what you like and what we could improve on so that we stay focused on being number one in lifetime customer experience.
