Due to continued growth and a company culture of continuous R&D there are currently multiple opportunities for skilled overseas specialists with relevant experience to join the ANCA team in Melbourne, Australia.
Manufacturing the ANCA product range requires a specialised field of expertise. We are seeking interest from overseas to ensure we continue to include the highest standard of skills within the ANCA team to best serve our customers and continue to provide the most innovative and highest quality CNC tool grinding machines on the market.

ANCA is offering to nominate suitable skilled applicants to work at the manufacturing complex in Melbourne, Australia for a period of at least two years.
Applicants must have a suitable visa and meet specific requirements including (but not limited to) the following:
- Their skills must meet the assessing authority, they must have the appropriate skills and qualifications required and they must have 5 + years experience to fill the position
- Be under 45 years of age
- Have vocational English language ability ANCA may be able to provide some assistance to suitable applicants during the relocation process.
A range of opportunities will be available to suitable applicants who have proven themselves after learning the ANCA product range for the two years required by the visa. These include the possibility of joining the ANCA team in your home country, or other ANCA offices, to provide them with the benefit of your skills, or assistance with the process to remain in Australia.
Positions Currently Being Recruited Through Skilled Migration
SOFTWARE ENGINEERS
- Position requires a software engineering or computer science degree
- Applicants should have 5+ years experience in a software engineering environment
- Applicants must be proficient in Java with preferred knowledge of C/C+ + Programming language
- Role involves working on GUI and and 3D geometry modelling
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
- Position requires an electrical engineering degree
- Using the latest engineering techniques, generate robust, minimum-cost electrical designs and high quality PLC software to meet customer needs and meet relevant standards
- Provide high level technical support for manufacturing and service technicians
MECHANICAL AND MECHATRONIC ENGINEERS
- Position requires a mechatronics engineering degree
- Original design of precision machine tools utilising 3D CAD (Unigraphics NX5) and Team Centre engineering
COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN
- Position involves configuration and test of ANCA CNC tool and cutter grinders before being sent to customers (including sample tool grinding)
- Technician provides technical support including trouble shooting and training
- Extensive mechanical trade experience, electrical trade or tertiary engineering advantageous
- Working knowledge of CNC Control systems and machine tool operation required
- Must have ability to run and use commissioning part programs and utilize m-codes, inputs and outputs for machine configuration and test
MACHINE TOOL FITTER (Assembler)
- Assemble cutting and tool grinding machines from the ground up
- Work from complex drawings using precision measuring instruments for exacting, fine tolerance work
- Previous experience in hand scrapping and working to tolerances of 2 microns in a mechanical fitting engineering trade is required
- Appropriate specialist precision experience may include gearbox repair, spindle, motor assembly and metrology
CNC MACHINIST
- Experienced, trade qualified multi-skilled Machinists to support high precision CNC Machine Shop Operations
- Individuals required that will be able to work with minimum supervision and achieve production targets Current Programming experience is required (Mazatrol, Toshiba, Okuma, etc)
ELECTRONIC SERVICE TECHNICIANS
- Diagnose and fault find CNC assemblies and repair systems
- Provide technical input to improve product design
- A strong background in Electronic repairs, preferably in the CNC field, is required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the electronics industry required
